Kino Makoto is a 14 year old girl . She knew she was Sailorjupiter after attempting to protect one of the Crystal Carriers, "Crane Arashi no Joe". Zoicite had managed to get the Rainbow Crystalfrom Joe and turned him into a youma. Makoto picked up the youma and threw him to help Sailormoon, and as she did so, the symbol of Jupiter appeared on her forehead. Luna gave her a henshin stick and she became Sailorjupiter.
She eventually became Super Sailorjupiter. She also discovered her past as the Princess of Jupiter and one of the guardians of Princess Serenity, during the time of the Moon Kingdom. Makoto is usually hanging out at the mall, or at school. She attends Juuban Junior High with Usagi and Ami, and later, when she is 16, she attends Juuban High. She lives alone in an apartment. Her parents had died in an airplane accident not too long before she came to Juuban Junior High. For this, she is afraid of airplanes. Everyone else was afraid of her because she was so strong (well, physically,she looks strong for her height) .
