Ten'ou Haruka is 16 years old, and is able to transform into Sailoruranus. This was a destiny that, originally, she did not want. She had dreams of the future which showed the coming of the Dark Messiah and received messages in these dreams from Sailorneptune. She wanted to be faster than anything in order to escape this destiny. However, by running like the wind, she just brought her destiny closer to her.
After one of her races, a competitor, Elza Gray, introduced her to Kaiou Michiru, whom Haruka knew to be Sailorneptune because of her dreams. Michiru asked if she could paint Haruka, but Haruka refused because she realized that Michiru knew Haruka's destiny. This wasn't the only time she saw Michiru. On a cruise, she met Michiru once again. Michiru was playing the violin as part of the entertainment and she had some of her paintings hanging up in the ship. Haruka noticed one entitled End of the World, and asked how she could imagine something like that. Michiru said that it was not her imagination, it was their destiny. Haruka said that she only wanted to race, and Michiru replied that she wanted to play the violin and not go through with this destiny either. Haruka finally accepted her destiny when she saw someone transform into a daimon. Sailorneptune told her not to touch the henshin stick that had appeared in front of Haruka if she didn't want the life of a senshi, but Haruka transformed into Sailoruranus after Sailorneptune had been injured by the daimon. From then on, Haruka and Michiru worked together.
Haruka practically lives for motor sports. She is the only female driver on the circuit. She also enjoys track and field, but it doesn't compare to motor sports. Because of her athletic ability, she was able to enter Mugen Gakuen High School. She also plays the piano rather well. Her second year of high school was spent at Juuban High School, because Mugen Gakuen was destroyed during the battle with Master Pharaoh 90. She and Michiru are almost always together, and they are in love.On the Moon Kingdom ,Haruka was the son of Uranus and he had a sister who was the original Sailor Uranus, but when she died she gave him the senshi powers to ensure his relationship with the Princess of Neptune. When the Princess of Neptune and Haruka died in battle,he was re-incarnated into a female and remember his love for Michiru.
